Tell us what you want

How it works

1

You tell us

Which sponsors you'd like (for example, a nozzle company) and what kind of deal: free product, a paid mention, or both.

2

We find the fit

We look for companies that sell what you asked for, ship to you, and suit your audience. You say yes or no to every offer.

3

You make the video

Honest opinions, always. You mark it as sponsored, as the law and YouTube require.

4

You get paid

The sponsor pays a deposit before you start. 30 days after the video goes up we count the views and pay you within 7 days.

Rates

Video typeYou earn per 1,000 viewsExample
Long video (with a sponsor mention)$1510,000 views = $150
Shorts$350,000 views = $150
Free product reviewNo fee, you keep the product

Views are counted 30 days after the video goes up, and we pay you within 7 days of that count. Every paid video earns at least $50 and at most $500. Amounts are in US dollars; creators in Canada can be paid in Canadian dollars at that day's exchange rate. Our fee (15%, at least $25 per video) is paid by the sponsor on top, so the amount above is what you get.

Want more than the standard rate? You can set your own minimum when you join. Sponsors see it before making an offer.

Questions

Is there a contract or a login?

No login. When you join you get a private link to see or change your profile. Each deal is agreed by email before anything happens, and you can say no to any of them.

Who is behind this?

SponsorMatchup is run by Ray Boorsma in Waterloo, Ontario, a former purchasing manager who spent years working with suppliers. Email ray@sponsormatchup.com any time.

What if the sponsor is slow to pay?

You don't wait for them. The sponsor's deposit is already with us, so we pay you from it on time and collect any balance from the sponsor ourselves.

Do I have to say good things?

No. Sponsors pay for your audience's attention, not your opinion. If a product is bad, say so.
